Schools - focus of every vibrant community development!

Who is the web service for?

Our comprehensive web design service is ideal for most schools who:

  • Wish to get on-line as soon as possible but have no previous web page creation or web management experience.
  • Already have an existing website that does not meet appropriate levels of compliance.

Why is it Suitable?

  • Close teamwork with education providers has ensured, that right from the design stage, our system was focused on being easy to use.
  • It requires no HTML programming or other technical IT skills.
  • The template driven, dynamic database system also maintains high standards of web etiquette and is mindful of current and future legal requirements.

An additional feature of our service is the various levels of service we can provide. We are dedicated to providing the appropriate level of support, initially through the telephone and continuing via email support.

Additional support can be obtained, and further site customisations are available, if required. Please call for details.

The 3 stage process is as follows:

STEP 1. Call or email to arrange for access to a demonstration website

STEP 2. Order your website and receive full instructions. It is so easy to use, there is no requirement for an onsite meeting.

STEP 3. Develop your site, to be as big and comprehensive as you want

Alternatively, if required, and for an additional charge, we can prepare and upload your initial information. Material should be prepared in Word file format with photographs and/or graphic(s), in jpeg format. Alternative formats will require additional processing.

New Role for ICT Co-ordinator

Whilst the ICT co-ordinator remains a key member of the web management team, they should be doing so mainly as a support capacity and not as project leader.

Each authorised user who is appointed will be responsible for keeping their own section of the site up-to-date. The appointed user will simply need the skills to use a web browser and fill in forms online.

The ICT co-ordinator will then be able to provide in-school support on an "as needs" basis, with external support available by email from LocalBiz.

The main contact person at the school (usually the ICT Co-ordinator) will have additional responsibilities including: allocating passwords to appointed users, site backups, applying template design changes and changing global colour schemes.
